Grant Enfinger and the Allgaier Motorsports team head to Lucas Oil Raceway for a rare Thursday night race for the ARCA Series presented by Menards with high hopes for a great finish in the 200 lap race at the Indianapolis short track.

Enfinger and the team tested at the track a couple weeks ago and came away very pleased with the results. “Unofficially, we were the fastest car on the track that day. We have a pretty good set up to head back there with for the race and I think with what we learned during the test we’ll be that much better. Short tracks are this teams strong suit so I’m really looking forward to getting there and putting on a good show. I think we should be one of the cars to beat Thursday night” said Enfinger.

Thursday night’s race marks the return of the ARCA Series to the track in over 25 years. The track has been a favorite of many of NASCAR’s drivers as the Nationwide and Truck Series’ have both competed there over the past several years as part of the Brickyard 400 weekend. This year’s return to the track by the ARCA Series should only add to the excitement of the race weekend.

The race will be televised live by the Speed Channel at 7:00pm Thursday night. Fans can also follow the race live on the arcaracing.com website with live timing and scoring.

Grant Enfinger is currently 4th in the ARCA Series points, only 25 points behind 3rd place Frank Kimmel and 35 points behind 2nd place Chris Buescher.
