Grant and the shop crew loaded the BeasleyAllen.com ARCA race car into the transporter late Monday evening. The crew packed as much equipment and tools as the trailer could carry for today’s long trip to Michigan International Speedway, near Detroit. They will meet Howard and the rest of the track crew at the speedway for 3 hectic days of activities at the 2 mile oval track.
Following a parade of ARCA haulers through the town of Brooklyn, Michigan, the teams will park their rigs only inches apart, as NASCAR Truck and Cup teams will also be sharing infield and garage space through the weekend. Wednesday will be devote to the extensive safety and technical inspections which include removal of fuel tanks and inspection of virtually every wire and component on the race cars.
